Until the upgraded hundred series tractors with their OHV engines appeared in the mid 1950's, the Funk Brothers made a decent living offering kits to swap in a Ford straight 6 or flathead V8 because the original 20 H.P. flat four was only good for 2 14" bottoms under ideal conditions. This is nice swap here, those tiny Fords are cheap and plentiful, so are 4.3s.
