  • Cool Beans. I like that you used the correct original color and I have never seen one with the left side hand brake lever intact. Are you sure it is a 9n? It looks like 2n rear wheels. Never the less, very impressive.

  • Very unsafe. The 4.3 engine was meant to power s10 trucks to full size trucks. Way too much power there. Im scared to even look at it. I've always felt the n series were overpowered to begin with so why the v6? See stuff like that in the local scrapyard.

  • Oh kyle dont start. Its people like you that ruin the hobby. I myself hire certified mechanics to redo and maintain my Christmas tractors. Even if its just an oil change as the average person doesnt have that sort of skill. If you'd listen to knowledgeable folks like the expert you'd be suprised.

  • If "THE EXPERT" thinks that N series tractors "....were overpowered to begin with.", then he's definitely no expert on Ford tractors! Until the upgraded hundred series tractors with their OHV engines appeared in the mid 1950's, the Funk Brothers made a decent living offering kits to swap in a Ford straight 6 or flathead V8 because the original 20 H.P. flat four was only good for 2 14" bottoms under ideal conditions. This is nice swap here, those tiny Fords are cheap and plentiful, so are 4.3s. Just make sure you have decent seals in the rear axles to keep those brakes dry and working!
